Man this one is a hidden gem, I barely see anyone talk about it. Having two protagonists with their own campaigns is very unique for a PS1 game, I've enjoyed Mint's side of the story more just because it was entertaining to watch her shenanigans. Some people might find her behaviour annoying due to how spoiled and bratty she is but I think it adds to the charm. Rue's story is more... cliche? But his transformation ability is more interesting than Mint's spell spamming. Overall a strong recommendation if you can swallow some "cringe" writting at times.
There's just one thing im very confused about, it seems that no matter how hard you try you won't have enough money to properly upgrade the stats of your character at that one shop in the back alley.
